Advocate Award
The purpose of the advocate award is to recognize a person or organization whose advocacy of guidance and counseling services in a school setting has impact for counselors on a local, state, or national level.

ELIGIBILITY FOR CONSIDERATION:
•The Nominee may be a principal, superintendent, or school board member.
•The Nominee may be a Parent, teacher, community leader, or organization who has consistently made a significant contribution to the improvement of guidance and counseling services in the school setting.
•The nominee should not be actively employed as a school counselor or as an administrator or supervisor of school counselors or counseling and guidance services.

CRITERIA FOR RECOGNITION:
•The Nominee must have been responsible for exemplary support of counseling and guidance services Outstanding promotion of counseling and guidance services.
•The nominee must have been responsible for implementation of existing counseling and guidance services.

Administrator/Supervisor Award
The purpose of the Administrator/Supervisor Award is to recognize an Administrator/Coordinator, Director or Supervisor whose leadership has shown outstanding services and impact in the guidance and counseling field for counselors on a local, slate, or national level.

ELIGIBILITY FOR CONSIDERATION:
•Nominees must be an Administrator/Coordinator, Director, or Supervisor of district guidance and counseling services who has consistently made significant contribution to the improvement of guidance and counseling services in the school setting.
•Nominees must be currently employed as a full-time Supervisor/Coordinator or Director of district guidance services and have completed at least three years of service. The nominee\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s primary responsibility must be in working with programs at the elementary, middle/junior high, secondary or multi-level.

CRITERIA FOR RECOGNITION:
•Initiation of developmental school counseling and guidance program
•The nominee must have been responsible for implementation of innovative counseling and guidance services and/or improving existing counseling and guidance services
